Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication
Journalism is classified into two categories:
Electronic (Audio/Visual) Journalism
This includes insight and training for newspapers, magazines and journals, with an understanding of the requirements of various related spheres and developing oneself to report/write on them.
This includes in-depth training to seek placements in the electronic media including Radio, Television, and Web designing. Skills include training in maintaining and designing web newspapers and magazines and also e-editions of popular newspapers and magazines. MGCPS provides its students the Industrial Visits (Tour of a Printing Press), Regular Sessions with the Industry Experts and Guidelines for TOEFL.
Class XII from any stream with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
Two papers in each semester carrying 100 marks each. One practical / viva-voce in each semester carrying 100 marks
