The B. Com(Hons.) course is a three-year (Six Semester) full-time course run under the faculty of Commerce of the University of Lucknow.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The course draws its faculty from diverse backgrounds, academic as well as industry professionals. The course has a blend of theoretical and practical inputs with French as a foreign language. Vocational Courses are provided by the Experts. Every subject in each semester carries 100 marks. The 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters each have viva-voce carrying 100 marks. French, a foreign language is also a part of the curriculum. These 100 marks are divided in to two parts of all the courses mentioned above: 70 external/30 internal.

The internal assessment marks are sub divided as under: two mid semester tests of 10 marks each i.e. 20 marks. Class presentation carries 5 marks. Attendance attributes to 5 marks. MGCPS aims to prepare its students for this degree to enable them to compete for the best corporate sector jobs and negotiate with the best companies both in India and abroad. The college is located in the posh Gomti Nagar locality in Lucknow, offering a congestion & pollution-free environment as compared to other degree colleges of the city.

ELIGIBILITY

Class XII (Any stream with either Commerce or Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects) with an aggregate of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
