Modern Girls' College of Professional Studies (MGCPS) in Lucknow, and Modern College of Education (MCE) in Banthara are part of the Modern Group of Institutions.

Since its inception in 2007, MGCPS has always endeavored to provide female students with professional knowledge in various streams of Management, Computer Application, Commerce and Journalism. We believe that the youth of our nation, especially the young girls, must be prepared to meet the forthcoming challenges of their personal and professional lives.

At MGCPS, we follow our motto 'विद्या ददाति विनयं' in its true sense by providing our students with several developmental tools to facilitate them to learn and grow throughout their lives. The institution focuses on every aspect of imparting knowledge, be it the contemporary curriculum or the state of the art facilities, experienced and qualified faculty members or the industrial training programs and the industry placements.

MCE on the other hand, in a very short period of time, has made a name in the elite list of educational institutions in the state for Teacher Education Programs.

The College began in the year 2014 with D.El.Ed (commonly known as B.T.C) after getting recognition from N.C.T.E. (National Council for Teacher Education) and affiliation from S.C.E.R.T. (State Council for Education Research and Training). In 2016, B.Ed was introduced, followed by B.El.Ed in 2017. Both these courses are affiliated to University of Lucknow.
